What’s the second best combination on earth? Peanut butter and banana. What’s the first? Almond butter and banana.
You got that right.
This smoothie is a powerhouse of salty almond butter with creamy banana and sweet apple. Add in some almond milk, honey, and vanilla for extra flavor and you’ve got yourself a B.A.B (banana almond butter) shake loaded with taste.
I couldn’t even make this drink fast enough without my friends slurping it down. This was on repeat in my house last week, I think I probably made ten batches.
And I might or might not have drank five myself.
It’s seriously that good.
It was important to me that the almond butter wasn’t too overpowering because sometimes with peanut butter-centric shakes, it’s a little too intense for me. I think using almond butter was the way to go because it had a really subtle flavor that made the perfect balance between the other ingredients.
So grab a nana, turn on that blender, and make some smoothie goodness. I’m already wishing I brought my nutribullet with me to New York City. I’m definitely thinking I could go for one of these right now. Why don’t you make me one and bring it to me? Pretty please?
Or just make a million for your friends.
And your friends friends. And your friends friends friends.
Summer is getting even better now that this is in your life. Slurp up.
