A few weeks ago I took a trip to New Orleans for the weekend. During lunch at The Rum House, I saw this green wall across the street that I knew would be the perfect backdrop for this post.
I’m definitely not always on top of trends, but there’s something about an outfit set that I feel is timeless. What I loved about this one from Madewell was the neutral color combined with the flair of the frayed edges. These shoes from Dolce Vita are the perfect eclectic compliment and I can already tell they will be a staple of mine all throughout the summer.
A city like New Orleans can get pretty warm in these upcoming months, and this set will be a great stylish outfit to keep up with the unique features of the city, while keeping you comfortably chic (and cool!) at the same time.
