I am currently in bed, writing this post, with a giant can of Hot Shot (no, it’s not a fancy drink… more like a flying insect killer) attached to my hip. If you live in Florida and accidentally left your door open for a split second too long at some point throughout the day, then you understand. I just had an episode of spraying my entire computer screen in an attempt to catch a yellow fly, which is also something fellow Floridians will understand. I am someone who hates to hurt anything, but after an incident a few weeks ago that involved a week of sleepless nights and so many bug bites I thought my face was going to be non-recognizable, I have gone to extreme measures.
But onto this dress, I wore this on memorial day last weekend during a pool party. I loved it because I felt relaxed and ultra comfortable, yet still put together. I got this dress during the dress sale at Urban Outfitters and have worn it non-stop ever since. This headwrap has also been on repeat lately, and I recently got it in another color. It is the perfect accessory to a beach hair day or an extra no shower day. I just throw my hair into a messy bun, add the headwrap, and I’m ready to go.

And then I finished the look off with my go-to UO sandals that are sadly no longer sold, but here’s a pair that’s similar. They are perfect for a dressy or casual look and scream summer chic.
Now that I’m itching my phantom bug bites, I better go back on patrol for yellow flies. Wish me luck, and have a happy hump day 😉
