Over the weekend I went to the South Walton Fashion Week, which is an awesome event in my area filled with local designers, stylists, and emerging talent! I’ll be sharing more about my experience there (and my favorite styles!) later on in the week, but today I wanted to share what I wore to my first ever fashion show.
I recently picked up this 70’s themed skirt from the JCrew sale section for 70% off, and I already have so many different outfit ideas that I can’t wait to wear it all season long. My shirt is an oldie but goodie from Altered State, and I wear it on repeat all the time. I love the vibe it gives with the lace detail and flared sleeves. And these shoes from Topshop are my new go-to heels. I don’t wear fancy shoes very often, but these are so comfortable that they are already on my regular outfit rotation, I also think they’ll be super cute with tights when it gets even cooler. Basically, I just love them so much!
This was a rather adventurous look for me, but I loved pushing my fashion comfort zone. And with not too many excuses to dress up around here, I decided to just go for it.
