My morning walks with Charlotte are something that happens very often, very regularly, and are very fun! Since having my first puppy that’s all mine, and having to walk her at least three times a day (if you’re thinking of getting a puppy, herding dogs are SUPER active!) I’ve gained all this new and wonderful time in my day to clear my head and get centered. It’s a beautiful thing.

I love this outfit because it is rather adventurous for me. After searching for months for the perfect New Balance shoes, I finally decided on these from JCrew, and am in love with them. I wear them everywhere and I love pairing them with jeans, skirts, dresses, and shorts. They really will go with anything and easily dress down any type of outfit. And they’re super comfy! I love wearing them on our morning walks around town because I feel like they make me look a touch more put together than I actually am at 7AM. I also recently took a trip to my local JCrew Outlet and scored with this adorable plaid top, gray skirt, and necklace. It’s definitely a little different for me to pair running shoes with a skirt, but I’m in love with this look already.

I think this is the perfect outfit for casual business meetings, days at school, or any time that requires a mix of fancy and casual, because breaking fashion boundaries are nothing less than fun!
