Retro Valentine’s Day

I have always been a modest dresser, so it was only a matter of time before I got my hands on a 50’s inspired look. I have been obsessed with Chicwish for a while now, and I’ve dreamed of owning one of their a-line skirts or dresses, but I just needed a good excuse because as you can imagine, living in a beach town is not the place for big swing dresses.

Thankfully, Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse for dressing up a little more than usual.

Haileigh and I accidentally chose the windiest day like ever to take these photos!

It was so funny because in between photos, we were running back to the car to try and heat up. And thanks to those pictures of me without my jacket on, I’ve now been in bed the last few days with a cold.

Anything for a good picture though, am I right?

With this being my last post before V Day, I hope you have a great one. Whether it’s spent with your best friend at the movies, with your family out to dinner, or with your loved one snuggled close, just give the people around you and extra hug and an extra I love you, because they deserve it.
