Plants.

It’s happening, guys. I’m taking ownership of this plant life. I will be a non-green thumber no more! I’ve decided that enough is enough, and if I’m going to keep wanting beautiful indoor plants in my home, I need to learn how to properly take care of them. So, as one does, I roamed the Waterstones floors until the two perfect plant books with loads of pictures, beautiful illustrations, and exceptional how-to’s/troubleshooting showed up in my hands. And thus begins my journey to plant thriving.

The two books I bought:

How To Raise A Plant and Make It Love You Back by Morgan Doane and Erin Harding

Living With Plants: A Guide To Indoor Gardening by Sophie Lee

In the interest of all things plants, I will finally find out why those ones at the bottom turn bright yellow seemingly overnight. And why the edges of another plant’s leaves are crispy all the time. I’ll get the deets on cleaning those beautiful leaves and watering like a pro.

You see, when I commit to something. I commit. I go all in, balls to the wall, ready to take on whatever challenge, lesson, or new experience awaits. I’m a master researcher, and can type like my fingers depend on it. But in all seriousness, plants have truly brought so much joy to my life and have made the places I live feel like home. It’s now time I treat them kindly back and show how much I care.

So, I’ll keep you updated on my plant journey. And in the meantime, if you’re a green thumb, please give me all the tips, tricks, and suggestions in the comments below! I’m so grateful already.

All my love, and until next time…
