Finding Your Zen

A few days ago I clicked publish on my most personal video to date. At the beginning of this year, I went through a time of feeling very less than. I couldn’t get my mind out of the fog and had more than a ton of trouble seeing the rainbow or even light at the end of the tunnel. I know that I can’t be alone in this and that feeling down, anxious, and completely out of whack is something that so many people experience as well for so many different, unique, and valid reasons.

I’m really all about transparency and blowing the roof off of anything that is supposed to be considered “normal” or “expected of us,” specifically us cool cat women. So I turned on the camera, and allowed you to see my thought process on how I deal with the negative parts of myself when life feels just like it’s all too much. It’s scary to share, but it’s even scarier for me to stay silent. There is so much love, acceptance, and understanding in this community and I know I am not alone. But, I also wanted to share my struggles to remind you that you are not alone either. That you have gifts that are unimaginably amazing and it’s time you share them with the world. You deserve it.

Please don’t be afraid to comment. Share how you are finding ways to beat your struggles (and embrace them!) or if you’re still in the thick of things, just comment for a whole lot of love and support.
